this is a band from africa, I think Zaire.
The drummer is called Emile Biayenda.
the band is very famous in some parts of africa, as you can hear at the audience.
but perhaps it was a festival - I don't know.
Les tambours de Brazza is something like the African Berkley for percussionists.
It's a big wish and an honour for a lot of young africans, to share the school,
but only a few can make it.
all this, I read in the booklet of the cd.

interesting the mixture of rap and traditional african themes in the track "Muesse".
and of course "Ahaando". Who can sit calmly on his chair by hearing the track ?
